Centennial Engineering Center
University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM
The 135,000 square foot Centennial Engineering Center was planned and designed as an interdisciplinary STEM instructional and research facility. All the CEC labs are BSL2 labs. The educational and support space were designed for long-term flexibility and to meet changing research missions. A 200-seat lecture hall, classrooms, additional labs, workrooms, study areas, and faculty complete the Center’s academic functions. A café, commons area, and an outdoor plaza foster interaction among the students, faculty, and staff.
