UNM Science and Math Learning Center – Phase 1 & 2

The 62,000 square foot, LEED Gold, Center is anchored on technology-rich spaces accommodating a diversity of users and fostering innovation. The design integrates chemistry and biology teaching labs/ classrooms, a 200-seat auditorium, a visualization lab, ‘smart’ classrooms, and a cafe.
A three-story light-well connects the south facing lab wing with faculty offices and classrooms. The main-floor learning alcoves in this bright, central gathering area provide flexible spaces for socializing, collaboration, or individual study.
